Traveler ReviewsOur most memorable night in Breckenridge

A group of six of us just dined at le petit paris and had an extraordinary evening. the place is small which lends itself beautifully to a warm ambience which is then further enhanced by the french owner/host, aureole. aureole, her sister and her niece were a joy to visit with, to joke with and provided us with excellent guidance regarding the menu and food choices. i particularly enjoyed the mussels.....never before had i eaten mussels prepared the way they do them at le petit paris and they were divine. my dining companions also enjoyed the lamb as well at the pate and cheese plates which had very generous portions.
all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience there..... a great combination of ambience, food and customer service. don't miss it!

We ate an early Valentine's dinner at Le Petit Paris on a Thursday night. The gourmet french food was absolutely fabulous! I had lamb and my husband had a fish special. I normally don't care for fish, but he definitely had a "winner" that night. Both items were delicious, presentation was elegant, and serving portions were plenty filling. The house wine was quite good and the chocolate lava dessert was to die for---definitely follow the recommendation of others & save room for dessert! My plated entree & side probably would have been enough had we not been celebrating. Be aware that this restaurant is VERY PRICY (although well worth the money if you're looking for a special treat). We each had a single glass of house wine, our entree, and one dessert and coffee a piece (no appetizers or salads) and our total came in at about $125 with tax & tip for just 2 people. The restaurant has a casual, homey feel, but with elegant ambiance and top notch service. Hostess and wait staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Reservations are recommended--it was quite busy the night we were there but we were able to make reservations that same afternoon. I would definitely like to return the next time we're in town: )
Hospitality capital of Colorado

On a recent ski week to Breckenridge, I took my family to Le Petit Paris to celebrate my wife's birthday. We have 2 children, ages 4 and 6. We have never encountered such gracious hospitality and fine food together in one restaurant. Our children were treated like royalty by all staff members. We usually ski in another location noted for its fine food, and Le Petit Paris is on par or better than some of the best in Santa Fe or Taos. The only other restaurant that we have felt such attentive service is our favorite, Fearing's at the Ritz in Dallas. These folks have it figured out...world class food and service in an intimate but family friendly setting.

Wonderful food with all the best ingredients. A caring, attentive owner and staff. An exceptional experience. Onion soup is a must, our entrees were lamb and quail, both superb. We paired this with a very basic but enjoyable "house" pinot noir, and the result was outstanding. Don't pass on dessert - even if, like me, you rarely have it.
FYI - not a "foodie"
