A fun afternoon of food and wine!

This was a fun afternoon! I enjoyed the back-of-house access we had at the Pajama Baking Company, and thier hand made ice cream was fantastic! The tasting at India's Pearl was delicious, and I enjoyed the wine tasting at Black Pearl as well. I would highly recommend this afternoon adventure in food, as Becky does her homework, knows the proprietors, and is really passionate about food and wine! You will enjoy the experience!

I was looking for an idea for a "Mother/Daughter Day-Out", and my mother and I had a blast! It was very informative and impressive! The speakers at each of the locations we visited on our "Gourmet Market Tour" were so passionate about their jobs and very educational about their industry. Loved the fresh seafood, sausages, cheeses and wine - so delectable! It was a great experience!

Becky has something very special on her hands and I want to do everything I can to spread the word about her culinary tours of Denver and now Boulder, with more to come I'm sure. My wife and I love food and this was such a great way to experience some of the finest food in Colorado from some of the most amazing chefs around, and with fellow foodie lovers! It's so cool when you can name your favorite restaurant from around the world and someone else knows exactly what you're talking about. We will definitely do this again!

Gourmet Market Tour - an experience to treasure

Recently I had the pleasure of joining Culinary Connectors on their Gourmet Market Tour. For a foodie like me it was so amazing to visit shops like Wen Chocolates, The Truffle, and Cooks Fresh Market in Denver. I thought I knew the Denver culinary scene but obviously I have lots to learn. Not only did I get a behind the scenes look at a variety of highly respected markets, but I got to taste cheese, brownies and chocolate cheesecake. The highlight of the tour, though, was a visit to Il Mondo Vecchio - one a few USDA inspected dry cure rooms. I got to watch Gennaro make lamb sausage, stand in their curing room and taste the salumi they make. Oh my! For anyone with a guest in Denver or even a Denver native - if you are foodie- you will love this tour.

I enjoyed myself on so many levels. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the restaurants and the staff, I felt honored to be introduced to these great menus and people. I visited restaurants I may have never gone to and was very impressed. I most certainly will dine at these exceptional restaurants again, and will absolutely go on many more tours to learn more!
