We did the numbers and Browns Canyon with WA. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly and their facility is first-rate and located right on the river. We had two great days of rafting and will return again when we're in the area.

i came on my R & R from Iraq and spent a day rafting the Arkansas river in Colorado.
we booked with Wilderness aware on the advice of my friend who was travelling with us, she researched them and several other rafting companies in the area.
i took the full day brown's canyon trip.
it was the best time i have had in many years, the guode was amazing and really made the trip worth the time and effort to go.
please keep in mind we drove for about 2 hours to get to this company from where we were staying. along the road we passed hundereds of rafting companies, i was thinking why are we passing up all these companies to get to the one we booked our trip with.
by the end of our day i was not questioning our decision to pass the competition up any longer. this was our first time rafting, but i can assure you we will definately do it again, and we will use Wilderness Aware as our company of choice the next time.
thanks for the memories everyone made this trip AWESOME for me and the rest of my friends who came along.
we will without a doubt recommend your company to anyone who expresses an interest in rafting.
A wonderful trip for a great price. We will be back.

We booked our 3 day Arkansas River Rafting trip through Wilderness Aware Rafting. Jody was very helpful booking the trip and answered all of our questions. We really weren't sure what to expect since we had not done this type of trip before but we are very glad that we did. Our trip was from July 19-21. The water at this time of year starts to get a little low but it was still good for rafting. All of our guides were great and very personable. It was very easy to become friends in a short period of time. They were all experienced and you can tell they value the safety of those under their care.
One key ingredient that made the trip really great and relaxing is that the guides prepare your breakfast, lunch and dinner for you during your trip. You get to sit back and relax and enjoy the vacation. The food was exceptional and not at all what I expected. They went all out and always had plenty of food for everyone including plenty of vegetables and fruit and other snack items.
Our guides were Amy, Jnalka and Zach. I would recommend them to everyone.
Thanks for the great time, we will be back next year for more fun.
