The setting is nice; I've been there many times and the interior changes quite a bit but it's always been pleasant.
Service is impeccable. They really do take care of you and they're very attentive.
The selection is not large, but the food is authentic and very good. They have the best humus I've ever had. The fact that they bring out the appetizers and you can see them, pick and choose what you want is nice. The bread they make right then and there for you is definitely a winner! They're not great on deserts tho. The wines are decent.
If you haven't been, I definitely think you should give it a try.
Excellent food - reasonably priced

Good for business dinners, or night with friends. Best Turkish food that I've found in Bucharest so far (better than Marriott, even). No outdoor seating, however.
Excellent Turkish food in Bucharest!

We were recommended to try this restaurant when we asked for Turkish food, just because we had read in one of the online tourist guides that it was good, and it is!
We just happened to be there on the day that they celebrated 50 year since opening, so it was packed and there belly dance performance and loud music, but it was just fun.
The internal decoration is very sparse, but the food tips the scale to the positive. Not that its a shabby place, but not a fancy one neither.
There is no real menu, but for each course, they come out with a cart with all dishes displayed, and then you choose from it. The meze (small plates of different appertizers) cart is stuffed with almost every meze there is to choose from, that really is from Turkey. No Romanian cross overs or any other ones, so it was amazing to be able to choose from all those plates.
For main course, they show us all the different skewers they have, and I took my favorite - Adana kebab, which is mainly regular meet on skewer with red pepper, serwed with Turkish rice, some bread and grilled tomato and one green peppar. It was one of the best I have had, and I have had some, being half Turkish. We were treated to dessert - baklava, which is typical Turkish. Very sweet dessert of think, cripsy layers of dough with crushed nuts an drenched in honey. We rounded that of with turkish tea.
The girls had wine, which they said was excellent.
Prices were average to cheap, for our western european standards, and it was with out a doubt one of the best turkish restaurants I've been to, outside of Turkey.
They have no homepage, but Google for the name and you'll find information on were it is, or ask in your hotel to book a table and guide you there.
