Great dessert

We stopped in here on a cold and rainy day to get some lunch and warm up. The lunch was actually quite good (I had a pasta dish which was a good sized meal) but left me with room for dessert. Between the two of us, we split the Foret Noire (very good!), prajitura cartof (amazing! I grew up in Russia and my grandmother used to make this, and this felt like home to me!) The lunch is easily skippable, but the desserts and their hot chocolate were very good!

This small place sells french patisseries to go, but you can also eat there on wooden tables. The food is very healthy (soups, vegetables,...), and there is a large choice of meals. Staff is pleasant (rare in Bucarest !) and efficient, so I would definitely recommend this place if you want to have lunch quickly. Desserts are highly recommendable (of course, given the name of the place ! ). I will definitely return there.

Initially we wanted to dine at Caru cu Bere, however, as soon as we entered we were assaulted by a fog of cigarette smoke. We decided to walk out and look for something else. Right next door we found the Chocolat. The service was very good, the food was excellent and the prices reasonable. The desserts are really good here, make sure you save room for a profiterole or muse a chocolate. Highly recommended place!
