Fast Service and Good Food

Wow-great fresh fish. This place is small and very busy-make a reservation. Do not expect to sit around and sip your wine before you decide on your dinner, I don't think they have a wine list anyway. You sit down,be ready to order a drink right away, you get a menu and they ask for your order. We were in and out in 45 minutes.Large food portions. The fish was excellent. Very reasonable

Simply the best of Aruba!

Everytime I asked a local or cabbie for a recommendation, Wacky Wahoo's came up... I have traveled enough to know such recommendations usually hold merit. We finally made it to Wacky Wahoo's and my whole family truly enjoyed the food. I have long felt these review sites should allow reviewers ability to give 6stars to one restraurant by location to let the readers know who the real creme of crop is. This place would be 6stars. Fresh & flavorful with friendly service, anyone else looking for anything else from local restraurant? Food: Aruban fish soup, Crispy tiger shrimp, house salad - all tasty; Fettuccini Alfredo - the very best, just order for your kids and see what happens; Chef's Special, Kingfish with linquini and shrimp - my wife didn't want to share; Wacky Wahoo's Mixed Seafood Platter with Barracuda - excellent and my wife made me share. Bread, the bread, ask for it - wow. Try the chocolate brownies for dessert - will not be disspointed. Price - I can't believe this place was actually the cheapest of the places we tried.. After a long list of restraurants that did not thrill us, what a treat!

We stayed in Noord Area at a private villa and saw the Wacky Wahoo each time we drove down the Palm Beach road to the high rises. It was always packed. We went in to try to have dinner, but is a tiny place with only about 45-50 seats. We made reservations for next night. It was Wonderful!!! SO fresh , beautifully prepared and delicious. We enjoyed it so much we made reservations for another visit in the same week. It is very inexpensively priced--soups/salads are 6-8$ US and main courses with all the side dishes are 12-24 dollars. Their wahoo and all fish dishes are superb and one of our friends even had a roasted duck which she pronounced delish.! Only downside it is loud as it is so tiny with tables close together

You'll Go Wacky Over The Wahoo

Best seafood we had during our 4-day trip to the Happy Island. A very short taxi ride from the Marriott, and an easy walk back on the return as we stopped and shopped along the way. The chef''s special for the night was a wahoo filet with shrimp and pasta that was excellent. Margarita on the rox was refreshing. Attentive wait staff. We arrived ~ 5:30pm on Fri. night sans reservation, but were seated immediately. By dinner's end, reservations were a must. The dining area is small, so when the front door opened, the ubiquitous tradewind ushered in more hungry souls than the sparse foyer could accomodate. Not a negative, just cozy. We sat brasserie-style and good conversation with the table next to us (strangers before, friends after) made us feel like a part of the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Our Best Meal in Aruba

We ate at Wacky Wahoo our second night in Aruba. The food was superb. The presentation was awesome and the portions were huge. My husband and I had the special which was a King fish served with shrimp. Yummy!!!! The food was fresh and delivered to us hot straight from the grill. The restaurant was really small so reservations are strongly suggested. Our check was approximately 60.00 with no drinks but worth every single penny. We will definitely visit this restaurant again and recommend it to a friend.
