I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great tasty food. My husband and I booked a table for 20 people with Bumbles for sat 6th march it was a birthday ocassion at first I was a bit concern if we were doing the right decision as we never been there before and anyone who we know have never been there either so i guess we took a chance when booked this restaurant but I'm very glad we went to Bumbles the food was divine the stuff was very friendly and all my guests were very happy and so were we many of my friends said they would go back and would recommend it to their friends so I just wanted to say a BIG thank you to all the stuff from Bumbles for making our evening SO enjoyable and very especial. Carmen & Stuart.

My husband and I loved this restaurant. We tried to visit once before but were unable to make the trip to London so we were very much looking forward to this visit. We went for lunch and ate from the £10 lunch menu. There were about 4 or 5 choices for each course and although the dishes were slightly unusual the waitress was more than happy to explain how each was served. I ordered squid for the starter served on a bed of seaweed and a cauliflower risotto for the main - both were elegantly served and delicious. We had ice-cream and a slice of warm lemon tart to finish off the perfect meal. From what i remember the house wine was about £12 but we decided to treat ourselves to a fabulous bottle of Shiraz (£19). As previous reviewers have said, the glasses of tap water are readily topped up and the wine is served for you as you need it. They do add service charge automatically to your bill but when service is this good you don't mind. One of the waitresses mentioned that the chef owned the restaurant and perhaps that explains the obvious attention to detail he puts into the food he serves. All in all a very enjoyable couple of hours was spent in this lovely unassuming restaurant - wonderful food, great wine, comfy chairs and friendly and attentive service.

Excellent food and service.

Visited Bumbles after reading the tripadvisor reviews and it was every bit as good as most reviewers said, the food was nicely presented and delicious. The bill includes a service charge of 12.1/2 %, when I asked my waitress if the service charge went to the staff she said that it didn't so I asked if she could remove it and I tipped the waitress the same amount in cash which seems a fairer way of doing it. I thoroughly recommend Bumbles for reasonably priced quality food and excellent service.

bumbles was the bee's knees for us!

we recently ate the tasting menu at bumbles and it was superb. At £33 it was fabulous. wonderful variety and all the little extras like an atomiser of trufle oil on one dish. a spoon of coconut ice cream deposited in the centreof my passionfruit souflee. yummy. this restaurant may not have the walk in wow factor of clos maggiori or murano but the food is good. it is nicely presented on thoughtfully chosen dishes, plates or wooden platters. The service was attentive and friendly, a lovely girl called natalie. you can also afford a bottle or two of wine without worring about the cost. I enjoyed the food here more than at murano and it cost less than half the price. Take the plunge order the tasting menu and be delighted. we were. thankyou bumbles xxxxx

How is this in the top ten restaurants in London?!

I was very excited about visitng this restaurant, given it's top ten status. Unfortunately we were sadly disappointed. It wasn't awful by any means, but it wasn't great by any means either. If I'd have just stumbled across it, I'd be happy, but with such high expectations, it just didn't meet the mark. The food was nice, but not great. The atmosphere was ok. They also not only add a 12.5% service charge, when paying for the bill by card, the machine then asked if you wished to add a tip, so if people weren't paying attention they could very easily end up paying a tip twice, which I think is unacceptable. So, beware.
