Top spot!

This is a great place to learn to kitesurf. While i was in Sharm in February the wind blew sufficiently most days. The warm water is from knee to chest high and protected from waves by a reef a few hundred meters out. Great instructors, staff and kit. Definitely recommended and i would love to kite here again. Hello there... First time in Sharm for a kitesurf trip....following some friends suggestion, I booked kitesurf service with kitejunkies and I let my young sons do some refreshing 1v2 lessons with their very professional and patient instructors. What to say, I have travelled a lot but this center is absolutely awesome. Perfect organization, support and supervision, all day long, will make your kite trip an absolute pleasure. Great thanks to Kev, Pedro and D. It has been a real pleasure to meet them. Highly, highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the best kiteschools I have come across

I recently came back from ten days at Nabq Bay using the facilities at Kitejunkies. The spot is excellent anything from knee to chest deep for learning with deeper patches if you don't mind being out of your depth. The lagoon is kiteable at all stages of the tide though the ouside reef is very shallow at low tide. There is a a nice left which is rideable at the top half of the tide but it does break shallow ,beside a wreck and there are a few pieces of wreckage scattered about. Not for the inexperienced as you are a fair way out should everything go pear-shaped, but fun non the less. All the staff can't do enough for you from taking down your kit to the beach and laying out your lines for you, truly the lazy way to kite! Also Di is a bit of a seamstress and will soon have any damaged kites fixed in no time. I never had lessons but the school seemed well ran with radio helmets in use . If you are just starting kiting or are a more advanced rider this is a first class spot to come to.

Great instructors in a beautiful location

Agree with all the other positive comments made. We were total beginners and got great instruction from Stefano. He was very patient and helpful desipte our fairly slow progress. Location is great ...on a day where there was no wind for Kite surfing we went snorkelling on the ship wrecks just off the coral reefs (accessible from the Kite centre). Spectacular fish everywhere along this coast in the Red Sea. They have good facilities there including wifi, tea & coffee making facilities, and a huge selection of kites / boards etc. Plenty of expert friendly advice on offer too. Only reason for not giving a 5 rating is that the 12h course is expensive - we paid 350 euro each for 12 h course and were in a group of 4 for most of that. Its difficult for 1 instructor to keep 4 people and 2 kites going without some hanging around. Next time I would look for 1 instructor to 2 people at the most. Otherwise a great experience.
