Friendly, Italian-speaking Italian restaurant Fantastic wines by the glass e.g. Barolo, Brunello Daily/weekly specials e.g., grill sausage with cannellini beans & pumpkin tortelli Nice pasta e fagioli starter Large portion of prociutto and melon Good anchovie salad Tasty agnolotti short rib stuffed pasta. Great pecorino cheese with honey and figs. Ice cream was thick, rich, and delicious. Very good service by Andrea. Nice décor, but would not rate it as romantic.

This small but cozy restaurant offers fantastic northern Italian cuisine and great wine selections. I started out with the Vegetable Puree soup which was very creamy but not heavy. For the entree, I had the Spaghetti Chitarra with Truffles. The pasta was handmade and the potion size was perfect. The staff was friendly and provided prompt service without making you feel annoyed. I would definitely go back!

My hubby and I were reading the top restaurants from a book in our hotel room and it said that this was the number 1 Italian restaurant. Well, we made reservations and went. It was a tiny place where you felt as if you were sitting at the same table as the people next to you. Unfortunately, my hubby and I are picky eaters (but usually love anything Italian) and I have many food alergies. Needless to say, the only thing on the menu that we even thought we could consume was a spinach and chese flatbread. It was cold with chuncks of mozzarella thrown on top and big spinach leaves. It tasted decent, but I wouldn't go back.

I loved the lobster salad - seriously something I want to eat everyday. Had the green lasagna - it was very nice, but after seeing the pork, that is carved table side, I was upset that I played it safe and ordered the green lasagna. Cant wait to go back and try that pork.
