Perfect setting for rehersal dinner, excellent taste and presentation of cuisine, impeccable service.

We were leary of having a rehersal dinner in a foreign country with an unfamilar restaraunt. The presentation and flavor of the cuisine were excellent. The courses were served on time and were flawless for each guest. The floral arrangements we had them order for us were large, fresh, tropical, and reasonably priced. The servers were attentive. The owners were honest, friendly, patient and paid attention to detailed. We did a power point of the couple that was displayed on the wall that was the size of a movie theatre. It was an opened air restaurant in the rain forest, yet there was no insects. We couldn't be more pleased with our selection of this restaurant.

We were in Manuel Antonio to get married, so we had a large group of guests with us most of the trip. We had 20 guests at La Hacienda for dinner one night. The food, service and atmosphere were amazing! Costa Rica does not always have the best service, especially for a large group, but we were blown away here. And very reasonable prices too! If you're in MA... make sure to eat at La Hacienda!

Absolutely delicious, great service from both the owners (retired, yeah ) and the staff. My kids loved it too! Great open air ambiance with very attentive service and our waiter also took the time to tutor and coach me in Spanish. I, of course asked for this service, he wasn't trying to correct me just improve my proper use. You can't go wrong and won't be disappointed at La Hacienda

We just happened to stop in at La Hacienda for dinner and ended up having a great meal. The staff were great, very helpful, especially since we had a 2yr old with us. Our food was delicious, the service was quick. My husband absolutely loved his fish, my pasta was very good and they even had a children's menu. The restaurant is open and it's like dinning in the jungle. Overall it was great.

Tracy, sorry for taking so long to write this review! I hope this does justice. I attended a friend's wedding reception at La Hacienda and the whole experience was phenomenal, without exaggeration. It starts with the atmosphere, a great open environment under rooftop and adjacent to a magnificent canopy: a sort of respite in the middle of the rainforest. It is perfect for a large event as the open spacing creates a nice setting for milling around/dancing/karaoke; at the same time, the enclosure by pillars and central dim lighting at night maintains the intimacy of the setting remarkably well. For food, I had the mahi mahi as an entree, which was more than satisfactory; the texture of the fish was well preserved and the flavors were subtle enough to enhance the buttery taste of the fish. I had the creme brulee for desert which was good also. No real surprises here, just well done food. The service is impeccable here and all of the staff was very friendly. They really go out of their way to provide for you. In particular, our waitess Jessica was one of the sweetest peopIe I might ever have met. She'll not only keep you comfortable but tell you all you need to know about the nightlife and surrounding area - and do it with disarming charm. For good measure, she's also stunningly beautiful! If you find yourself at La Hacienda, do yourself a favor and ask for her. Overall, a great experience.
