Sunset Grand Canyon tour with Mike from Grand Adventures

You're in for a real treat if you're going with MIKE (redhead) to the Grand Canyon. Professional, genuine and filled with knowledge; make sure you ask him questions about anything and everything you see during the tour because he is definitely good for it. The drive doesn't feel long because you get to see an amazing transformation of landscapes. And most importantly, this is one of the few tours where breakfast, lunch AND snacks (even water) are included in the tour price. The stopover at Route 66 was a pleasant surprise and we walked /saw so many viewpoints of the Grand Canyon, it was amazing! I don't want to give away too many stories about what happens on the actual day, but believe me, you are taken care of and it is definitely an experience (esp. since Grand Adventures tour from the South Rim). PLEASE let us know when Grand Adventures expands to other areas because the tour company we went to Yosemite with was a bit of a let down. Grand Adventures should sponsor Mike to do tours in Australia! Mike, all the best for your trip in Spring! - Leonard and Michelle (Sydney, Australia).

An amazing tour with a wonderful guide thrown in.

I did my tour on 2nd March with Robin as my guide. As promised on its website, there is no more than 10 persons on the tour - exactly 10 (including Robin the guide). The mini-bus/van can hold 10 persons comfortably. Robin provided a good bunch of information about Vegas, the Canyon and sights we see along the way. A great conversationalist and that's a good thing because it's a long drive from Vegas to the Grand Canyon, stopping at Hoover Dam and Seligman. All the stops are well-timed, leaving pretty of time to be spent at Grand Canyon itself. The Grand Canyon is an amazing sight with top-rated sunset view. I am glad I chose Grand Adventures because it definitely brought me there and back feeling good.

I must say that Darryl truly takes an interest in you. We went to Las Vegas not knowing whether we would even go on the tour because of the weather. Darryl kept in contact with us to let us know whether we were "on or not" and I truly felt like he had our best interest in mind. So, we did get to go and Alfonso was our guide. He was very informative and knew lots of the area history and he even took us "off tour" to see some additional sites like Seligman, AZ. I never felt rushed and never was bored despite lots of driving time. The MickeyD's and Arby's was sufficient and the van was very comfortable. The tour is a must to catch Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. I would HIGHLY recommend Grand Adventures!!

We had a great time. The tour guide, Mike, was super nice. The tour was very informative. He answered all questions we had. It was definitely a trip we will never forget. Well worth the money.

Our tour guide was Alfonso and we went on Thursday Feb 25th. We originally booked for Wednesday but got a call about bad weather and postponed to the next day. Alfonso did everything he could to make sure we had a great time. He took pictures of all the couples and knew the best sites to take them. He really went out of his way to make sure our pictures were perfect. We really enjoyed Route 66, which was not on the schedule. The sandwiches were huge and ours must have had a 1/2 pound of turkey breast on each. It is a long day but well worth the sites. I am so glad that we did this.
