My boyfriend and I went on the Grand Canyon South Rim Sunset Tour on March 6, 2010. Our tour guide was Mike. He was a wealth of information regarding Las Vegas, Arizona and the Grand Canyon. He made the whole trip very interesting. Mike also provided excellent service. He even served us in McDonald's... meaning he got our food and picked up our trays. He took pictures for every couple. For lunch, the sandwiches were huge and very filling. There were also cheese, crackers, fruit and cookies. They provided the service as described in their website. The tour only had 8 people and we all fit in a van. The trip was very comfortable even though it was very long. We left around 7.30 am and got back at 10.30 pm. This is still pretty impressive considering Mike had to drive us through a rain storm going back to Vegas. Still, this tour is highly recommended and definitely worth the price.
Great time!

This was our first time to Las Vegas and we took the sunset tour with George. He was the reason we both had a GREAT time. He made the long ride fun, was knowledgeable about the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon, and to top it all off, he took some great pictures with our camera.
Thanks George and thanks Grand Adventures!
The best time in our trip

We travelled 14 days between Nevada and California last February and the Grand Canyon, with the Grand Adventures, was the best part in our trip.
Our guide, Alfonso, was very qualified and asked us which language we prefer to speak: english or spanish (we are brazilian). He spokes a perfect french too. The weather was cold and he offered me more jackets. Nice attitude.
The sandwiches were delicious. However, the best part of our lunch was the view: there is no price to eat in natural benchs enjoyng the Grand Canyon. 150 dollars are cheap for that!!!
We have the best pictures in our trip. He is really a pro.
I'd like to return to LV just to enjoy the other tours that Grand Adventures offers.
The Best, whatever the circumstances.

This is an atypical review. Others have already praised Darryl and his team for their first class tours of the Grand Canyon. I want to add something slightly different... For one reason or another my family and I missed our tour and yet the way that Darryl handled this unforeseen circumstance was absolutely exemplary - thus proving that even when things go wrong a great company will still help things work out right in the end. In this respect I can only add my whole-hearted recommendation to those already listed here.
Excellent trip

This was an excellent trip - we weren't hurried at all and the guide, Robin, knew a lot about every place we visited. The van we took was comfortable and not crowded. The stop in Seligman was especially enjoyable. Robin is a great photographer, offering to take pics whenever we wanted. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone.
