A friend took us here. She warned us ahead of time that it was way off strip and quite the hole in the wall, which honestly only made me more excited! The food was wonderful! We had the mussels in their marinara sauce which was so good, the portebella mushroom appetizer - delicious! I had the salmon special which was so good and I couldn't even finish half of it. I was sooo disappointed that I couldn't take home the leftovers, but there was no where to keep it in our hotel! Our only bummer of the evening was a slam from the waiter on one of my table companions. She was so offended and hurt, but our waiter, Tony, came to the rescue and brought her the most wonderful creme brulee. I think she was very satisfied after that.
BTW, Tony is a wonderful waiter. Kinda a gay, Dean Martin type. And I mean that in a very positive way! If you get lucky to have him, get him talking. He is entertainment in and of himself. The singer was wonderful, especially if you like the "Rat Pack" type of music.
Over all the best food we had in Vegas and a great time too. Highly recommend! It is an experience!
Old World Las Vegas - Great Italian American Food!

There is a reason Casa Di Amore is ranked so high out of 1,700+ restaurants in Las Vegas?it?s the food! After reading all the reviews I knew on my next trip to Vegas I needed to include a visit to Casa Di Amore. They are open Wednesday to Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
This place is definitely a local?s hangout that transports you to the 1950?s Las Vegas when you enter the door. You need to make reservations far in advance! They offer a complimentary limousine service pick up and drop off service from your hotel, otherwise it is a $25+ one way cab ride from the strip. Unfortunately the limousine was getting repaired when I called but my buddy and I still opted to go regardless. It was well worth the extra $50 it cost me!
My friend had a half order of the chicken parmigiana which was huge and I had the veal parmigiana. Make sure and get the garlic clove cheese bread, in a word, outstanding!
We were both too stuffed for desert but there will be a next time, you can count on it.
Best Italian Food Ever!!

This is THE BEST Italian food!! We discovered this hidden jewel about 5 years ago on one of our many trips to Vegas and now a trip to Vegas is not complete without a visit to Casa Di Amore!! Not only is the food AMAZING, but the staff is as well. We always get the limo and the limo drivers are great. We have had just about every server they have there and they are all fantastic! Even though we only go twice a year (being out of towners), they remember us!!! That alone is amazing, that they can remember us out of all of the customers they serve. I love the fact that the ambience hasn't changed since the Rat Pack ate there. That's what makes this place so special, the highbacked maroon leather booths, the wood paneling with all of the pictures of Old Vegas, my only regret is that the Rat Pack is not still alive to join us for dinner. The food of course is the most important part and all I can say is FABULOUS!!! We have NEVER been disappointed in anything we've ordered. Can't say enough good things about Casa Di Amore, this place is the BEST!!!
Wonderful restaurant and wonderful staff

We decided to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary at Casa Di Amore. We tried this restaurant for the first time last year on our last visit to Vegas. This was our second time. It was on Valentine's day. Our limo driver, Johnny was right on time to pick us up at our hotel. He's a really nice guy! Upon entering the restaurant someone greeted us at the door and quickly took us to our table. Funny enough it was the exact same table as the year before! He then gave me a single red rose. What a nice touch! Our waitress Suzy was the best! She was so nice and efficient! Everyone there are very nice! The food was excellent as always! It was the best chicken parmesan I have ever had! They also have a lounge singer...Doug, which sounds like Dean Martin and he sings all those old big band songs. He had a violinist who accompanied him. What a treat! He was really good! He played Fiddler on the roof perfectly! Because of the high volume of reservation demands, they opened more tables outside in a big tent. They had their own lounge singer, chocolate fountain and big screen tvs. It was all decorated for Valentine's. I have to say that they must have quite the kitchen crew because we never would've known that they were cooking for two dining rooms. I congratulate them on a job well done! Don't ever be scared of reviews because I can tell you that this is a great place run by great people! Casa Di Amore holds a special place in our hearts and we are making this our yearly tradition. We can't wait until next year!
Not just a fine dinner but a wonderful experience too!

My wife and I dined at Casa di Amore on 1/31/10. We opted for the restaurant's complimentary limousine to pick us up at our hotel which was a nice treat. From the extensive wine list, we ordered a very nice bottle of prosecco. (TIP: bottles of wine are 1/2 price on Sunday & Monday.) We had some of the nightly specials including Manhattan clam chowder and crabmeat-stuffed Portabello mushrooms for appetizers and my wife had the Chilean sea bass for dinner. I ordered the veal piccata. The appetizers were good, but both dinner entrees were superb! Fortunately, the dinners were sized just right so that we had enough room left for a canoli. We finished with a digestif of black sambuca. Wait service throughout the meal was outstanding, and the live musical entertainment fit perfectly with the "old Vegas" atmosphere. Thanks Sonny for the limo ride, and a very special salute to our server Desiree who was extremely attentive and friendly!
